Question: Why should I choose Lockwood’s Pressure Washing?
Answer: Because you get me, every time. This is a one-man business. I answer the phone, I give the estimate, and I do the work. There is no crew to send and nobody to hand your job off to. It is also why my scheduling is honest — if I cannot get to you this week, I will say so rather than string you along.
Question: How often should I have my property pressure washed?
Answer: Once a year suits most homes around here. Our humidity and tree cover mean mold and algae come back faster in Forsyth County than they would somewhere dry. North-facing walls and anything that sits in shade stay damp the longest, so those are usually the first to go green.
Question: Is pressure washing safe for all surfaces?
Answer: Not at the same pressure, no — and that is exactly why soft washing exists. Concrete and brick can take real pressure. Siding, roofs and older wood cannot; those get low pressure and the right cleaning solution instead. Blasting siding at high pressure is how people end up with water behind their walls.
Question: Can pressure washing damage my property?
Answer: It can, in the wrong hands. Too much pressure strips paint, etches concrete, drives water up under siding and takes the granules off shingles. I match the pressure to the surface every time, and when I am unsure I go lower and let the detergent do the work.
Question: What areas do you serve?
Answer: Cumming and Forsyth County first, plus Canton, Dawsonville, Milton and Suwanee. If you are a little outside that, ask anyway — I am often closer than you would think.

Question: How long does a pressure washing service take?
Answer: Most residential jobs are a few hours. A driveway on its own is usually one to two. A full house wash plus the driveway can take most of a day. You will get a realistic window with your estimate, not a hopeful one.
Question: What are the benefits of pressure washing my home?
Answer: Curb appeal is the obvious one. The one people miss is that mold, algae and mildew hold moisture against your siding and roof, and that is what shortens their life. Cleaning is a great deal cheaper than replacing.
Question: Do you use environmentally friendly cleaning products?
Answer: Yes. I use biodegradable solutions and I pay attention to where the runoff goes, especially around planting beds, lawns and storm drains. If you have plants you are particular about, point them out and I will pre-wet and rinse them.
Question: Can pressure washing remove oil stains from driveways?
Answer: Usually, and older stains often lighten a lot even when they do not disappear completely. Oil that has soaked deep into concrete over years can leave a shadow. I will tell you honestly what I think I can get out before I start rather than promise you a miracle.
Question: Is there anything I need to do before you arrive?
Answer: Move cars, patio furniture, grills and anything fragile out of the area, and close your windows. That is about it. If something cannot be moved, leave it and I will work around it.
Question: How do you handle mold and mildew removal?
Answer: With cleaning solution rather than brute force. Pressure on its own knocks the surface growth off and it comes straight back. Treating it kills what is actually rooted into the surface, which is why a proper soft wash stays clean so much longer.
Question: Can you pressure wash roofs?
Answer: I soft wash roofs — I never pressure wash them. High pressure strips the granules off asphalt shingles and takes years off the roof. Low pressure and the right solution lift the black streaks and moss without doing damage.

Answer: It helps. Washing pollen, mold and algae off siding, decks and walkways cuts down what gets tracked indoors and what stirs up when you are sitting outside. In a Georgia spring that is not nothing.
Question: Do you offer any discounts or promotions?
Answer: I run seasonal specials from time to time — ask when you call. And if you are having a few things done at once, that is almost always cheaper than booking them separately.
